My family really enjoyed our short summer visit here. The staffs and manager were really attentive. We had our memories and we believe this would be kind of a place that so sweet and peaceful to think of. All of the food and scenic were great.

Hornsbury Mill, We wanted to thank you for hosting our wedding on the 24th September, and making it a truly special day. We are especially grateful for Zoe for her support and hard work ensuring all details were perfect and everything ran smoothly. Zoe was always available for questions and support throughout the planning of our day and went above and beyond on the day itself. Our guests all complimented how wonderful the venue was, how brilliant all of the staff were and how amazing the catering was also. We would highly recommend Hornsbury Mill as a wedding venue. All our thanks, Amy & Grant

Absolutely blown away by our Sunday roast at Hornsbury Mill — they have completely smashed it. In an industry that is incredibly tough right now, this team is getting everything right. The value for money is exceptional and the staff are an absolute joy — genuinely warm, friendly, and clearly proud of what they do, which makes such a difference. The variety of fresh vegetables was unbelievable (far more than we could eat!) and every single one was cooked perfectly. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection, and the lamb and pork were equally outstanding — tender, full of flavour, and clearly high quality. I can honestly say we’ve been converted — no more carveries for us! Everything was beautifully put together. And then the puddings… all homemade, all delicious, and the perfect end to a fantastic meal. Set in a beautiful setting, this was hands down one of the best Sunday lunches we’ve had. Hornsbury Mill is doing an incredible job — highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

Staff were lovely and welcoming upon arrival. Rooms were immaculate and looked amazing. Dinner at the in house restaurant was also incredible, will certainly visit again if I am in the area!

t was the first time of visiting this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and tidy the hotel was. I believe it has recently changed ownership and the new management are trying hard to bring the setting up to date, creating a modern feel whilst maintaining the history and character of the building and mill. Where else can you stay and see a working mill in your bedroom?! It was such good value for money, the food in the restaurant was so tasty and the standard didn't drop for breakfast. I can highly recommend the eggs royale. I will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to all the staff for making a very wet weekend really enjoyable.

Had a perfect Sunday night stay. The hotel is quiet, serene, full of historic charm, really well looked after, spacious, and really well laid out. They have done a fab. job of ensuring you have great mod cons (great WiFi, fab. TV, powerful shower) despite being in a rural location. My room was charming and the bed was so comfy. Parking is free and easy. Food was fantastic - I had the cold platter for dinner as I was arriving late on Sunday night (you need to let them know if you are arriving late on a Sunday and want a platter, which they tell you on their website) and to be honest I wasn't expecting much (as it was a cold platter) but I absolutely loved it- fabulous cold meats (traditional roast meats), crackers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cheese selection and salad. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Fantastic stay and fantastic value. I stay away with work a fair bit and this hotel is now one of my favourites, I'll definitely come back. It is so much better, more pleasant and much more charming than the 4* chain hotels.

This is an absolute little gem! We've stayed here on two occasions, for a cheeky night away, and both times have been fabulous. The rooms are cosy, quiet and with plenty of little extra touches. The beds are lovely, with soft, fresh linen and fluffy pillows. The rooms are spotlessly clean with fresh, modern bathrooms. Breakfast is outstanding, and the staff are super. We also had a fantastic Sunday lunch here, with very generous portions, served with lashings of piping hot vegetables and jugs of steaming gravy!
